For people who fret over choosing between attending church or going to a football game on Sundays the Buffalo Bills will offer a chance to do both.  On Sunday, December 17th when the Bills host the Miami Dolphins the ADPRO Sports Training Center adjacent to NewEra Field will host a non-denominational Christian service prior to the football game.  They're calling it Church at the Game.

Plans are to have seating for 500 with standing room for another 500 if needed.  The service will run from 9:45 to 10:45 am.

A group who has offered what they call Church at the Beach in Crystal Beach, Ontario for the past seven years approached the Bills with the idea.  Team owners Terry and Kim Pegula approved it.

Former Bills quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife Jill will attend and will act as greeters for worshippers.  A number of speakers are scheduled to take part.

It's a one-time event, but if it's successful more could be planned in the future,  The Kansas City Chiefs have offered church services prior to that team's home games for the past four years and they've been well-attended.  The Bills would be just the second team in the league to offer it.

With the way things have gone for this Buffalo franchise over the years a little praying for the team couldn't hurt either.
