Wow – what a crazy game in the desert. The Bills looked like sure winners, then they looked like sure losers. Finally they win in overtime. Jarius Byrd’s interception in overtime set up Rian Lindell’s winning field goal to give the Bills a 19-16 win over Arizona ending the Bills’ two-game losing streak and at the same time ending the Cardinals 8-game home winning streak.

No way with under four minutes to play the Bills should be passing the ball – but Brad Smith’s throw into the end zone was intercepted and it helped set up the Cardinals’ game-tying field goal. Jay Feely’s career long 61-yarder tied the game, then after the Bills were forced to punt Feely tried again from 38 yards to win it, but the ball hit the goalpost and deflected away.

In overtime, Rian Lindell hit a 25-yard field goal to win it.

Give Byrd star of the game honors. He had an interception late in the fourth quarter to end a Cardinals drive.

A much better effort by the Bills defense, allowing 332 yards, but coming up with five sacks – Mario Williams and Nick Barnett each had two and a safety.

C-J Spiller and Fred Jackson with the Buffalo touchdowns.

The Buffalo win, along with victories by the Jets and Dolphins and a loss by the Patriots in Seattle creates a four-way tie for first place in the AFC East – all four teams stand 3-3.

The Bills host the Tennessee Titans next Sunday.
