Buffalo Country Fans Show Big Support to Texas Flood Victims

What an incredible night for a great cause! The Sportsmen's Tavern hosted the WYRK Texas Flood Relief Party to benefit The American Red Cross and it was a great success in many ways.

With a $5 entry, a 50/50 (in which the winner gave the money back) and a few more donations when we "passed the hat"...before the night was over, we had $2,000 in hand, and that number was matched by an anonymous donor! The night's donations also included a $1,000 check from Class Act Engraving! That's right...a combined $5000 raised for The Red Cross!

I can't thank you enough. On behalf of the staff at WYRK and our listeners, thank you Buffalo for your help. We made money for flood victims.  We also raised awareness and brought attention to what The Red Cross does in times of disaster.
