Buffalo Makes Forbes’ List of Happiest Cities to Work In

Buffalo is on the rise. Years ago so many articles and lists would go through why so many young people were leaving the city to go other places to work. Now those of us that decided to stay are reaping the benefits. We have just been named one of the happiest cities in which to work.

Forbes formulated their list by considering work-life balance, an employee’s relationship with his or her boss and co-workers, general work environment, compensation, opportunities for advancement, company culture and resources.

We made the top 10 on that list, topping other big cities such as Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas and New York.

Here are the 'happiest' cities:

5.  San Jose, CA

6.  Redmond, WA

7.  Los Angeles, CA
