It has seemed like forever since the Sabres let coach Dan Bylsma go.  They've hired a new GM, and today they announced that they've hired Phil Housley as the new head coach.

Housley is a hockey hall of famer and former Buffalo Sabre.  He played for the blue and gold from 1983-1990 along with a handful of other teams until 2003.

He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015 and has been serving as an assistant coach with the Nashville Predators.

We welcome Coach Housley back to Buffalo.
