The Buffalo Sabres extended their winning streak to three games with a 2-1 win at Minnesota on Tuesday night, avenging last week's 4-0 loss to the Wild in Buffalo.  Johann Larsson scored the game winner to break a 1-1 tie with six and a half minutes left in the third period.

Larsson's goal was his second of the season and both have been game winners.  He scored five game winning goals last year.

Ryan O'Reilly opened the scoring early in the first period to break the three-game shutout streak of Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk.  The Wild tied it with a power play goal in the second period setting the stage for Larsson.

Larsson was a second round draft pick of the Minnesota Wild in 2010 and was acquired in the trade that sent Jason Pominville to the Wild in 2013.

The Sabres are back home Thursday night for a matchup with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
