Evander Kane plain and simply missed the Buffalo Sabres' practice on Monday because the previous night he was at the NBA All Star game in Toronto, overslept and missed it.

It was only one practice, but it was only one needed for head coach Dan Bylsma to suspended him from Tuesday night's loss against Ottawa. While in Canada for the game, Kane addressed the media and apologized.

First and foremost I want to apologize, obviously, to my teammates for letting them down. Obviously with what happened, me missing practice yesterday was irresponsible and I take full accountability for my actions with what happened", via WIVB.
