Buffalo Sabres For Sale?

Thanks ever so much to Tom Golisano for rescuing the Sabres from oblivion following the Adelphia Cable debacle, but Golisano admittedly is not a hockey fan.  You hardly ever see him at a game anymore.  There's no urgency on his part to win a championship, but I want the Sabres to win the Stanley Cup.   And so does every other Sabres fan.  So now comes word a wealthy hockey fan with roots in Western New York has signed a letter of intent to buy the Sabres for $150-million.  That's great news.  I hope it's true.  The Hockey News says it is.  The Sabres deny any of it.  Read more of it here:  Sabres For Sale
