They've lost 10 of their last 11 games and it looks like the bleeding hasn't stopped yet.  The Buffalo Sabres turned in one of their worst performances in a season filled with them in a 6-1 loss at Nashville on Thursday night.

This game was over in the first period when the Predators scored four times including two within 8 seconds.  Two Nashville players scored their first career NHL goals in the rout.

Except for a few players it looks like the Sabres have mailed it in for the rest of the season.  And you have to wonder if these guys really realize they're playing for jobs next season.

Sabres rookie defenseman Rasmus Ristolainin scored the only Buffalo goal in the second period. After getting no help in the first period, goaltender Matt Hackett was relieved in favor of Nathan Lieuwen for the final two periods.

The Sabres finished the five-game road trip with just a single victory.  They host Tampa Bay Saturday on a night when they induct goaltender Dominik Hasek into the Sabres Hall of Fame.
