Buffalo Sabres Open Florida Road Trip With A Loss
43-year old Jaromir Jagr scored a pair of goals against the Buffalo Sabres Thursday to stake the Florida Panthers to a 2-0 lead and the Sabres never recovered. The Panthers went on to a 3-2 win.
Jake McCabe scored his first NHL goal in the second period to put the Sabres on the board for the first time in the game. After the Panthers went up 3-1 early in the third period, Tyler Ennis scored on the power play to close to within one again, but the Sabres couldn't get the equalizer.
So the Sabres drop 1-3 on the season. They continue their Florida road trip Saturday night in Tampa against the Lightning.
