Defenseman Adam Pardy had a pair of assists and after the game he reflected on the trade of Jason Pominville that sent the former captain to the Minnesota Wild.

With Pominville now gone from the team, forward Steve Ott was named an assistant captain and said he was honored

The Sabres have only 10 games left to play.  They host New Jersey on Sunday night.
