The Buffalo Sabres ended a two-game slide with Monday's 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars during a rare weekday matinee game.  Tyler Ennis playing in his first game after missing the last 30 with a groin injury needed only 19 seconds to score giving the Sabres the lead and they never looked back.

Jake McCabe and Jack Eichel both scored power play goals and Eichel scored his second of the game and 10th of the season into an empty net to close out the game.

Goaltender Robin Lehner was back in net after missing the last three games with the flu.  He stopped 29 of 30 shots to pick up the victory.

The Sabres are in Toronto on Tuesday to meet the Leafs for the second of five meetings between the two teams this season.  The Leafs beat the Sabres in Buffalo in November.
