in the first of a four-game road trip.  Ryan O'Reilly led the way with a pair of goals and two assists.  Sabres captain Brian Gionta also scored twice.

Kyle Okposo put the Sabres on the board early in the first period with his first goal in his first game as a Sabre after being acquired in the offseason.  Matt Moulson scored the other Buffalo goal, his second goal of the season.  Two of Buffalo's goals came on the power play.

Defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen finished with three assists.  Goaltender Robin Lehner stopped 31 of 33 shots.

The Sabres continue their road trip Tuesday night in Calgary, then play in Vancouver and Philadelphia before returning home a week from Thursday against the Minnesota Wild.
