Austin Osmanski says it's a dream come true.  The team he's followed all his life made him one of their selections in this weekend's NHL Draft.  The Buffalo Sabres selected Osmanski with the first of their two picks in the seventh round on Saturday.

Osmanski is from East Aurora, he played with the Buffalo Junior Sabres at Harbor Center and he's good friends with Alex Nylander, the player the Sabres took in the first round, the eighth overall pick.  Osmanski and Nylander both played with the Mississauga Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League last season and attended school together.

It'll likely be a long road to the NHL for Osmanski, but general manager Tim Murray said if he works hard and builds himself up he could get a call up some day.  In the meantime a local kid is living a dream.
