So much for the winning streak.  After three straight victories the Buffalo Sabres came crashing down to earth with a 4-1 loss in Winnipeg.  Giveaways in the second period were costly with the Jets scoring three times while at the other end the Sabres had trouble cashing in on the  opportunities they had.

Last time these two teams met was back in February where the Sabres were no-shows and it cost Lindy Ruff his job.  The Sabres put in a much better effort this time but didn't have much to show for it.  Kevin Porter had the lone Buffalo goal in the third period.

The Sabres and Jets will meet for the final time this season back in Buffalo on April 22nd.  Meanwhile, the Sabres are back home Thursday night against Montreal.
