Everything good must come to an end and Buffalo is learning that some of their long-time favorite athletes are calling it quits in Buffalo -- or for good.

Wednesday morning, NLL Buffalo Bandit's superstar, John Tavares is expected to announce his retirement. According to WKBW:

The 46-year old ends his career as the all-time National Lacrosse League leader in points (1.749), goals (815), and assists (934).

He holds the franchise record for games played, appearing in 306 in his 24 seasons. His 815 goals are also the most in Bandits history.

This comes in the wake of Buffalo favorite Daniel Briere announcing his retirement and the recent cut of Buffalo Bills running back, Fred Jackson.
