When Rob Banks heard about the snow that is STILL IN BUFFALO in July, the first thing he wanted to do was build a snow angel, maybe go sledding. So Rob and Liz headed out to Buffalo's Central Terminal to find the two gigantic piles of snow that are still around.

The snow is leftover from the great Snowvember and though you have to dig a little to find it, IT IS STILL THERE!

When the snow buried us all in our homes last November, the city created huge piles of snow in various dumping areas around the area and TWO of those piles are still standing near the Terminal. (If you do go to check it out, and we are not telling you to, go to the one Rob and Liz checked out because the other one will have you sinking into freezing mud even faster than this one!)

The two piles are roughly ten feet tall. And these things are GLACIERS!

They are slowly melting and the cold mud you'll sink into when you are standing there proves that there is a lot of ice under the dirt and GRASS on top of it.  It is INCREDIBLE that this much snow is still in Buffalo on the hottest day of the year. It was 90 degrees out when we were out there!

But apparently dirt and garbage has formed insulation around the snow pile so its holding out, possibly until the end of August -- just in time for a month of no snow and then...
