Buffalo’s First “Beer Boat” Coming Soon!

I remember when Buffalo was getting it’s first pedal pub.  I saw it at our Buffalo On Tap event and thought it was possibly one of the coolest things I had ever seen.  It’s a bar that has multiple bike setups around it so that people can pedal their group from bar to bar.

It’s a cool idea that Ken Szal of Buffalo Pedal Tours found in another city and brought back to Buffalo.  He says he's always traveling and finding cool new ideas to bring here.  Now, he’s got multiple pedal pubs making their way through Buffalo and he’s on to his next adventure.  It’s a pedal pub pontoon boat.  Yup…he’s taking it to the water.

He’s hoping to keep the boat at Riverworks and start his tours from there.

Unfortunately, the boat is still early in the process as he works with the Coast Guard and a builder to create a 12-person pedal pub for the water.
