One of my favorite places to take a walk in the City of Buffalo has to be around Hoyt Lake.  Although the water is green and murky, the view from certain vantage points, is really pretty.  There's something about bodies of water that bring about a feeling of peace and tranquility.  Now that I'm done with my moment of zen, the reason why I bring this up is because Hoyt Lake will have some improvements made to it!!  One addition will be two new fresh water wells, which will improve the water quality.  The city also plans to put a paved walkway around the perimeter of the lake.  This project will cost around $400,000.  Two-thirds of the bill will be covered by the state and the rest will come from city bonding.
