Can You Beat Clay’s Hay Bale Toss? [VIDEO]

The Western New York Farm Show returns to the Hamburg Fairgrounds this weekend and among the fun, you can compete in the Hay Bale Throwing Contest!

Last year, the media was asked to participate prior to the show oepning and somehow I threw the farthest!

Taking place in two heated buildings, the WNY Farm Show works to bring together the farming population and the services necessary for daily operation. Vendors for this year’s show include feed, seed, and equipment dealers, farm service providers, and various agriculture non-profits and agencies.

Farmer Elite Toss, a hay bale throwing competition that is open to the public. Guests can toss a hay bale the farthest to try and win. Participants can sign up beginning at 12:30pm daily inside the Agriculture Discovery Center; competition begins at 1:00pm. A “media toss” consisting of WNY radio & television personalities will take place on Thursday, February 2nd at 11am.
