Carrie Underwood Amongst Stars Featured in Rock Hall of Fame Broadcast
Carrie Underwood had a big honor recently when she was asked to perform alongside Emmylou Harris and Sheryl Crow, as well as Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt and Glenn Frey to honor Linda Rondstadt during her Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Tonight (May 31) the performances will be broadcast for fans to watch.
HBO is airing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony at 9PM ET. Fans can catch the five females during their tribute as well as a lot of other artists during the broadcast.
The women sang some of Ronstadt's biggest hits like 'Different Drum,’ ‘Blue Bayou,’ ‘You’re No Good,’ ‘It’s So Easy’ and ‘When Will I Be Loved.’ Sadly, the singer has been badly affected by Parkinson's Disease and is no longer able to sing. She was diagnosed with the disease last year but says she had seen many symptoms years prior.
Ronstadt wasn't the only musical legend inducted this year. Cat Stevens, the E Street Band, Nirvana, Peter Gabriel, KISS, Hall & Oates, Rolling Stones manager Andrew Loog Oldham and Beatles manager Brian Epstein were all also given the honor.
The broadcast will air this Saturday (May 31) across several HBO channels. Full listings for the broadcast are here.
