Carrie Underwood’s Movie Debut in ‘Soul Surfer’ [Video]

Carrie Underwood admitted that she was extremely nervous about her role in the new movie  'Soul Surfer'   Her big screen debut takes place next Friday April 8^th as the movie hits theaters.  Carrie credits her co-stars and the films crew for helping her feel more comfortable on the set.  MTV.com got the scoop from Carrie last fall.  The movie is based on the story of champion surfer  Bethany Hamilton , who went on to compete after she lost her arm in a shark attack in 2003. It will be interesting to see if Carrie has acting chops, it’s a tough business to crack.  I doubt she’ll go on to win an Oscar, but she might become the female Tim McGraw and land a role or two in the future.  Only time will tell.
