August 20, 2012 I decided to take a mini road trip over the weekend to see Trent Tomlinson play in Hannibal, NY. I have been listening to some of his new stuff and tweeting back and forth about this show for a few weeks and thought I would see his show first hand. It was one of the best shows I have seen all summer. Not just for the entertainment value (of which there was a ton) but this show offered me a chance to learn a bit more about a guy that is way overlooked in Country Music.

August 18, 2012 I hate that my kids watch as much TV as they do. They are constantly on the move so when we do have time to be home, I let them relax and watch the tube. But they aren't channel flippers. They watch pretty much one show...all day long. Spongebob Squarepants is on a constant loop at our house.
August 18, 2012 It really was a closer game than the final score indicated. The Bills lost their second straight pre-season game Friday night to the Minnesota Vikings 36 to 14. It doesn't matter if you lose by a point, or 50, it's still a loss. But in the pre-season it just doesn't matter. There's no game plan. The coaches simply want to see as many players in game situations as possible.
