Cheektowaga High School Wins Contest And Message From Peyton Manning

It's always cool to win a contest.  It's even cooler when you win, and then get a personalized message from a future NFL hall of famer.

Cheektowaga can now boast that they got a message from Peyton Manning.  He sent them a personalized message to let them know that they had won a contest and a "Smarter Football Grant" worth $10,000 that the school can now use towards equipment from Riddell.

According to WKBW, the application for the grant was written by the Cheektowaga Warriors Booster president whose son played on the team last school year.

They were in a pool of around 700 applications to win.
