Chris Cagle played at Braun's Concert Cove in Akron last night. This was a show that I had been waiting for for a long time. Chris had taken some time off to take a break from the craziness of the music buisness and to focus on his family life.

A hearty crowd of 700 plus welcomed Chris back to Western New York last night.  He came ready to play as he belted out many of his old hits as well as some new cuts off his current album, "Back In The Saddle".

Chris is the type of guy that loves to have fun on stage. He even let a local guy named Dave get up and sing his hit, "Miss Me Baby". And Dave really did it justice. I think even Chris was impressed. He surprised me by playing one of my favorites off the new CD, called "I'll Grow My Own". That's a tune you may have heard me play on our Wide Open Country show.

It seemed like everyone really enjoyed the show last night. Everywhere I looked people were smiling and having a great time. Opening the show was Sean Patrick McGraw.
