Looks like the sale of the Buffalo Sabres to billionaire Terry Pagula will come next week.  According to a report on WGRZ-TV Channel 2, an agreement to sell the team has been reached between Pagula and Tom Golisano, but it won't be announced until after the completion of the World Junior Hockey Championships taking place this week in Buffalo.

I've been waiting 40 years for the Sabres to win a championship and I guess I can wait another week for the team to be sold to a guy that actually cares about winning - a guy that won't be afraid to spend money to attract players, a guy who won't be afraid to make changes in management and yes, even in coaching if it comes to that.  As far as I'm concerned there are no untouchables on this team.  Look at their record.  They're a league bottom-feeder right now.
