Christmas In The Country Features Local, National Artisans at The Fairgrounds This Weekend
If you like going to craft shows, you live in the right place. There are a number of shows that come through each year at The Fairgrounds, including the popular Christmas in the Country, and the show is happening this weekend at the Hamburg Fairgrounds.
My sisters and I have made it a tradition to shop this event, and over the years, we’ve found unique, handcrafted creations! Plus it’s a nice girls day out shopping, which I’m always up for.
I’m amazed at how this show has grown over the years. I moved to Western New York in 1999 and remember the event being somewhat crowded, but the last couple of years, the crowds of shoppers have doubled in size.
The event has been ranked either #1 or #2 in the nation for the past 10 years. Now, celebrating its 29th anniversary and drawing almost 60,000 visitors over four days, the event is widely recognized as the preeminent holiday artisan market in the United States.
Christmas in the Country is on now (Nov. 6-9) in five buildings at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. You may even bump in to me at the show! Happy shopping!
