1989 was an exciting year for country music. We saw three new stars ushered into our format: Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and Clint Black. All three of these guys brought a fresh new sound to country and each was unique in their own style. Alan's career is still going strong. Garth is in semi-retirement mode doing occasional shows when he needs the ego fix. We really haven't heard too much from Clint Black these days, so I thought he would be a great choice for this week's feature artist. His music still stands up to any of the stuff coming out today.
