After snow and cold wiped out racing at Martinsville over the weekend, the completion of Saturday's Truck race and Sunday's scheduled Cup race were run on Monday.  In the Cup race, Clint Bowyer ended a 190-race winless streak by taking the STP 500 and the grandfather clock that goes along with it.

It was Bowyer's seventh career victory and first at Martinsville and his first since joining the Stewart-Haas Racing team.  So now along with teammate Kevin Harvick who won three in a row, Stewart-Haas has won four of the season's first six Cup races.

Bowyer led 215 laps and beat second-place Kyle Busch to the finish line by just over a second.  It's the third time in the last four races that Busch was forced to settle for second.  Ryan Blaney finished third and won the first stage.

Martin Truex, Jr. and Kevin Harvick completed the Top 5.  Denny Hamlin won the first stage and finished 12th.

Joe Nemechek won the completion of the Truck race which was also run on Monday.

After taking next weekend off for Easter, the Cup series resumes Sunday, April 8th at Texas Motor Speedway.
