MMA One Step Closer to Being Legal in New York [VIDEO / NSFW]

Mixed martial arts is currently illegal in the state of New York, but that may change! On Wednesday, the State Senate passed a bill that would permit MMA organizations such as the UFC and PrideFC to hold fights within New York state.

The bill will now go to the Assembly. Fans and participants of MMA are hopeful, but they've seen the dream fade before. Supporters argue that allowing MMA in NYS means another strong revenue source for the state.
