This week's High School Football Hero is Cody Collins of Iroquois High School.  He was nominated by Heather Sieber who says Cody displays the leadership and work ethic that every coach and parent hopes for from his top players.  He never takes a day off.  He leads by example.Cody is a relentless player.  He wants to be on the field at all times and helps all of his teammates.

He has worked hard in the offseason on his strength and quickness.  Cody has taken his natural talent to the next level through hard work and a tremendous desire to excel.

Cody is an even finer young man. He displays a great attitude in the classroom. The same work ethic that has made him such a good football player has made him a strong student.  He also volunteers as a Jr Coach to mentor the younger boys football program.

This young man is an outstanding example and is deserving trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Congratulations to Cody.  In addition to the family four-pack of tickets to the Hall of Fame, we're giving Cody a WYRK t-shirt.

Who's next?  Nominate a player you know and we could honor him next week.
