In the middle of so many athlete scandals, let alone college football scandals, some young men restored some faith in humanity.

Four football players from from William Paterson University in New Jersey went into a store they thought was open. The lights were on, and the door was unlocked. They needed some batteries and few other things, but while they were picking those up, they realized no one was there.

They checked the back to make sure no one was hurt and called out several times. When they realized they were alone, they took their merchandise to the counter and paid for it...even leaving what they thought the tax would be.

The owner was so impressed that she called her local TV station to share the story and the surveillance video. She also gave each of the boys a $50 shopping spree at the store. As she said, "They could have ransacked the store!"

These are the stories we should be reporting everyday!
