Colonel Joseph Treanor Is This Week’s Hometown Hero

It’s time once again for our Hometown Hero, brought to you by Batavia Downs Gaming with help from our friends at WNY Heroes who help us with our nominations every week.  This week, our Hometown Hero from Cheektowaga, NY served in the United States Air Force.  It’s Retired Colonel Joseph Treanor!

Ret. US Air Force Colonel Joe Treanor is a decorated veteran with a Purple Heart and many other commendations. He was an Air Force JAG who was on the team that prosecuted Saddam Hussein.

In addition, Ret. Colonel Treanor has spent his post-military career serving others through the United Way, and, as a member of the New York State Bar, by representing veterans and other deserving clients in their legal matters pro-bono. He is dedicated his life to the service of his country and now his community as well.
