Customer service is an art. When it's done right, it stands out. When it's done wrong, the whole world finds out about it.

I am blown away by the way this customer service rep for the cable company Comcast handles this customer when he tries to disconnect his service.

"This phone call is a really amazing representative example of why I don't want to stay with Comcast."

This phone call recording started 10 minutes in. His wife originally tried to cancel; however, after no result, she turned the phone over to the man. They just want to disconnect their service. He says it again and again, but the representative continues to hound this man.

After nearly 20 minutes of excruciating conversation, the man finally gets his service disconnected and an apology from Comcast.

"We are very embarrassed by the way our employee spoke with Mr. Block and Ms. Belmont and are contacting them to personally apologize."
