So McDonald's workers want $15.00 an hour?  They're going to get it - the one's lucky enough to still have a job.  McDonald's is starting to introduce kiosks for ordering your food.  They've had them for a while now, but they're looking to introduce them in more and more of their locations, especially in areas where wages are an issue.

It makes perfect sense.  McDonald's is no different from any other company.  They want to make a profit.  Having to hire people to work cuts into that profit and when those workers demand higher wages what's a company to do?

I'm sure McDonald's and all other fast food restaurants are looking at other ways to take employees out of the equation.  I'm sure you'll soon be seeing other ways to automate the process of cooking and serving fast food.

So the lesson is; be careful what you ask for.  McDonald's workers may not have their jobs long enough to enjoy that $15.00 an hour pay.
