There's an old saying, "ignorance of the law is no excuse".  For some reason there  seems to be a need to remind people who drive on the Kensington Expressway that they shouldn't litter.

If you travel on the inbound Kensington (Route 33) you'll see seven "Unlawful To Litter" signs stretching from the city line to downtown.  I can only wonder why.  Has littering been a problem on the Kensington?  Did the sign-making shop need something to do?  Seven signs?

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying.  I abhor people who litter.  I can't understand why people can't wait until they find an appropriate place to dispose of their litter.  Instead they just throw it out the window.  But isn't that just common sense?  Do people have to be reminded?

Why not also put up signs reminding people "Smoking Can Be Harmful To Your Health"....."Brush Twice Daily"......"Don't Forget To Apply Sunscreen"....."Close Cover Before Striking"....."Eat Five Servings Of Fruits and Vegetables Daily".  People need to know.
