A Florida professor known for his fixation on conspiracy has came up with 'facts' that the Sandy Hook school massacre was set up by the government to promote gun control. He's not the only one that thinks this either. Here's why...

Florida Atlantic University professor James Tracy has publicly raised the ridiculous idea that the Sandy Hook shooting was a staged event.

"Regardless of where one stands on the Second Amendment and gun control, it is not unreasonable to suggest the Obama administration complicity or direct oversight of an incident that has in very short order sparked a national debate on the very topic—and not coincidentally remains a key piece of Obama’s political platform," the teacher wrote on his blog, memoryholeblog.com.

The school had to release a statment as well. "James Tracy does not speak for the university," university spokeswoman Lisa Metcalf said according to the NY Daily Post. "The website on which his post appeared is not affiliated with FAU in any way."

This sick part is this mans known for promoting his stupid theories in a class, "The Culture of Conspiracy," at the school. HE'S TEACHING KIDS THIS. WHY ISN'T ANYONE STOPPING THIS.

Laura and I were taking about the theory this morning. If anyone thinks that this can be evenly remotely true, that's ridiculous. It's outrageous to think that this man thinks this even was a staged event. Whether you like our government or not, if you think that the Obama administration set this up to hurt innocent children and someone agreed to do that, you're sick. What do you think?

Tracy was quoted that his theories are "scholar and public intellectual." Right....real intellectual James Tracy
