Controversial Anthem At College Football Championship

Alabama beat Clemson Monday night to win the national college football championship.  It's the fourth title in seven years for the Crimson Tide and the fifth national championship for Alabama coach Nick Saban.

But before the very first play of the game what really has people talking is the national anthem.  Singer Ciara was given the honors and I'm convinced she was inspired by the version that Whitney Houston did prior to Super Bowl 25 between the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants in 1991.  To this day I think, and many people agree, the Whitney Houston version is the most inspiring national anthem ever sung.

Oh, and one other thing that people are talking about....what Ciara wore.  It might be better to say they're talking about what she didn't wear.  Some people are even saying that it was disrespectful.
