"It would be a game-changer for Western New York like we've never seen."

Amazon is looking for a SECOND Headquarters to compliment their home location of Seattle right now and bring their $5 BILLION facility and over 50,000 more jobs.  Logistically, Buffalo makes sense in a way of it's on the complete other side of the country.  Plus, they just decided to have one of their warehouses here in Lancaster.

Danny Spewak of Channel 2 looked into the idea and County Executive Mark Poloncarz said that they have submitted their resolution and encouraged Amazon to come to Western New York.

Amazon prefers a site within 30 miles of a population center and 45 minutes from an international airport-- an airport that preferably would have direct flights to Seattle, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. (Buffalo has direct flights to all of those locations). The company is also looking for a site that can accommodate a facility of more than 500,000 square feet.
