Country Quickie!

Taylor Swift's new single "Mean" will be her latest release to country radio airwaves.  Swift says she wrote the song in....response to repeated criticism that eventually turned to mean attacks on her as a person.  There was one guy who Swift says "who just crossed the line over and over again of just being mean and just saying things that would ruin my day."

Reba McEntire says that her daddy 84- year-old Clark McEntire is doing well in his recovery from a stroke he suffered earlier in the year.  One good piece of news is that Mr. McEntire can sit up in his bed now.

Kenny Chesney has partnered with Costa Sunglasses to design his 1st line of signature sunglasses.  Proceeds will go to the  Coastal Conservation Association.  These glasses will be in limited supply....so once they're gone, they're gone!! You can get 'em at his live shows or by searching online.  There are 5 different styles....which were hand drawn....have Kenny's signature and lyrics from his songs.

Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson top both country singles charts....Billboard and Mediabase.  Their song "Don't You Wanna Stay" is #1 for a second week on Mediabase and #1 for a third week on the Billboard charts.
