We have a TV Alert Reminder: tune in tomorrow night at 9 PM, ET on CBS to watch….. superstars pay tribute to today’s most incredible female country music performers in Girls’ Night Out: Superstar Women of Country - The Concert of the Year. It honors The Judds, Miranda Lambert, Loretta Lynn, Martina McBride, Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles, Reba and Carrie Underwood. The special tribute features performances by the honorees as well as Jason Aldean, The Band Perry, Vince Gill and more!

Tim McGraw shared some problems that he is having with his soon-to-be former record label, Curb Records, in releasing his upcoming Emotional Traffic album. McGraw pledges that it would be his last CD with Curb “if it kills him,” and even though he finished the album in the fall, there is still no release date. “All the songs have been done for a long time, and the label has had it. It’s the last album that they have of mine, so they’re trying to hold on to it as long as they can. Whenever Mike Curb decides he’s going to play fair, it will be out.”

The nominees for the 2011 CMT Music Awards will air live on NBC’s Today show on Wednesday, April 27, presented by CMT’s Evan Farmer. Appearing with hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, Farmer will announce the nominees during the 10 AM, ET hour. The Band Perry also will participate in the nomination announcement and perform their current hit, “You Lie.” The event marks the first time CMT and NBC have partnered to announce the CMT Music Awards’ nominations. Voting will begin on CMT.com immediately following this announcement. Also for the first time, fans will get a sneak peek at the nominees for the coveted USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year category on Monday, April 25.

The 2011 CMT Music Awards are in its tenth year, and will air live from Nashville on Wednesday, June 8 on CMT. More details are coming soon!
