Country Quickie…Birthdays and More!!

We will start off by saying Happy Birthday! to two country music stars......Reba McEntire turns 56 today (Sorry Reba, I didn't want to say the number, but the prep service had it written there)....and...Rodney Atkinsturns 42.  So happy birthday to them and to you if you are celebrating.

Elsewhere around the country music world.....Carrie Underwood is set to duet with music icon Tony Bennett.  The song will be featured on his upcoming CD called Tony Bennett:Duets II

Husband and wife duo Thompson Square have teamed up with CMT to launch the "Thompson Square 'Crash My Wedding' Dream Honeymoon" contest.  Those interested are asked to submit a short essay about why the duo should crash your wedding!  The winner will get a dream honeymoon to either Chicago, Las Vegas, NYC, Miami Beach or New Orleans.
