Country Quickie: Blake Shelton Completes Team, Cowboy Bieber and More!!!

Blake Shelton has completed his team in the latest T.V. singing competition, "The Voice." Last night, in the battle round, Shelton had to choose betweentwo teenagers--16 year old Xenia and 18 year old Sara Oromichi.  Shelton chose Xenia, a high school student from Temecula, California.  Also part of team Shelton are Patrick Thomas of Dallas, Texas, Jared Blake from Star City, Arkansas and Dia Frampton of St. George Utah.  Now that the battle round is finished, the singers will now compete against each other "live".  This will give the viewing audience a chance to weigh in and pick their favorite singer.  Live round starts June 7th.

Yee Haw!!! Justin Bieber will be rockin' the cowboy boots next week in Nashville for the 2011 CMT Music Awards.  The teenie-pop sensation is not only a guest, but a nominee for "Collaborative Video of the Year" for his work with Rascal Flatts on "That Should Be Me." Other faces you'll see at the award show include Shania Twain and American Idol winner and runner-up Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina .

Happy 58th Birthday to Ronnie Dunn.......and Happy Birthday to Lisa Hartman- Black.....She's 55!!  ssshhhh!!!!!!!  ( by the way, for those who don't know of her.....she's Clint Black's wife!)
