Country Quickie: Keith Urban vs Paparazzi, CD Releases & More !!!

According to E! News a member of the paparazzi is accusing Keith Urban of attacking his car.  Photographer Willem Pieterson told Nashville police that the country sensation  punched his vehicle and kicked his rear door. Pieterson was trying to get a shot of Urban and family as they were leaving a restaurant.

Toby Keith had to miss a show this past weekend @ the Big Valley Jam in Canada.  The singer has a severe case of laryngitis.  Toby's next show is Thursday.  Hopefully he can make that one!

A number of lawmakers are going to be using Taylor Swift's concerts in Washington, D.C. this week as a backdrop to their own benefits.  5 Republicans and 1 Democrat - will be raising money for their campaigns at Tuesday's and Wednesday's live shows.

Today in 2000- felony charges against Tim McGraw in connection with the infamous "horse incident" in Buffalo were dropped.  Since he and Kenny Chesney still faced a number of misdemeanor charges, the case went to trial and the pair was completely exonerated.

Also in 2000- Keith Urban became the first Australian male country artist to earn a U.S. Top 10 country single with "Your Everything."

Today in 2008- Alan Jackson's "Good Time" was #1 on the Billboard country singles chart.
