No names here, but last week I went to a local bank, waited patiently in line and politely asked when it was my turn if anyone at the bank was a Notary Public. I was told, "yes, are you a customer"? When I said, "why, does it matter?" I was quickly told, "YES"!

Are you kidding me? I told the teller that if I ever thought about becoming a customer at this bank, they were no longer on my list. I promptly walked out.

Was I wrong? What happened to "good-will" and perhaps signing up a new customer as a result?  I'd love to hear what you think...but PLEASE, no names.
