Bills Blown Out By the Jets
The Bills were just a few plays away from being unbeaten this season until yesterday when they were beaten convincingly by the New York Jets at Wilson Stadium on what had been billed as a “white out” day. The Jets methodically took control of the game while shutting down the Bills offense and rolled to a 27 to 11 win. Ryan Fitzpatrick was held to under 50 percent passing. Freddy Jackson held to 82 yards rushing. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots long winning streak at home came to an end with a loss to the New York Giants, so at the halfway point of the season there’s a 3-way tie for the lead in the AFC East. The Bills, Jets and Patriots are all 5 & 3. The Bills are on the road for the next three games. They play at Dallas next week.
