• North Tonawanda Landmark Destroyed By Fire

    Demolition has begun on the remains of the historic Elks lodge in North Tonawanda following Saturday morning’s devastating fire. Elks members say the 90-year old lodge was one of the only lodges in the state which had been in its original condition. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

  • Schumer Calls For Passenger Advocate

    Senator Chuck Schumer is calling on the TSA to create passenger advocates at every airport across the country. This after allegations that some elderly passengers are being strip searched because of medical devices they use. The TSA denies any strip search claims and says it’s working to get a new toll-free hotline set up next month to field complaints.

    It wasn't Goldilocks sleeping in his bed. A Town of Lockport man says he returned home early yesterday morning to find a naked man in his bed. William Bayles allegedly broke in through a window. He’s being held in the Niagara County jail.

    A deer hunter in Niagara County is recovering after being grazed by a bullet fired by another hunter over the weekend. He’s being treated at ECMC. It happened in the Town of Royalton.

  • Bills Lose Their Sixth In A Row

    It’s official – the Bills are out of the playoffs for the 12th straight year after their 37 to 10 loss in San Diego. Ryan Fitzpatrick’s second interception of the game was returned for a touchdown and the rout was on. The Bills lone touchdown came when Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers fumbled the ball into his own end zone and the Bills recovered it there for a touchdown. It was one of the few bright spots on a very tough afternoon for the Bills. That’s six straight losses for the Bills. They host the Dolphins next Sunday.
