Police have charged two more men in connection with the stabbing death of a woman at the Albion Walmart. Two illegal immigrants from Mexico have been charged with attempted robbery and conspiracy. An illegal immigrant from Honduras is charged with murder in the random attack on October 30th after the victim resisted a carjacking attempt.
A West Seneca woman faces up to seven years in prison after pleading guilty in a fatal hit and run. Lori Maciejewski admitted she struck and killed 18-year old Ryan Purcell as he walked along Seneca Street on October 8th.
Buffalo police are looking for a man they think is responsible for a series of bank holdups in the area. The latest one happened late yesterday afternoon at the HSBC Bank branch on Main near Allen.
Erie County Executive-elect Mark Poloncarz is making plans to take over management of the county January 1st after his upset victory over Chris Collins on Tuesday. He says he’s putting together a team to help him hit the ground running when he takes office. Poloncarz becomes just the second Democrat to hold the office of Erie County Executive in the history of the position.
