The National Weather Service has expanded an earlier watch to include more of the Western New York region.

As the change in temperatures occur over the weekend and a low pressure area moves in, the winds will also be picking up. In fact, the winds on Sunday may be strong enough to cause some damage.

The wet weather has not only made for muddy and soggy backyards, but it will also bring the potential for trees to uproot when the strong winds pass through.

Gusts on Sunday may reach 60 miles per hour. Rain will also be a part of the weekend in the area.
