David Letterman Wins Comedy Central Johnny Carson Award

Comedy Central presented its first Comedy Awards last night with David Letterman presented the Johnny Carson award - a man Letterman called his idol.

Other Comedy Central were the Will Ferrell/Mark Wahlberg film “The Other Guys” named best movie.
Nick Galifianakis best movie actor in “Dinner For Shmucks”
Tina Fey – best movie actress in “Date Night”.
Alec Baldwin – best TV actor in “30 Rock”.
Kristen Wiig – best TV actress in “Saturday Night Live”.
Best TV Comedy Writing – “30 Rock”.
Best Animated Movie – “Toy Story 3”.
Best Late Night Comedy Series - “The Daily Show" with John Stewart.

Best Animated Comedy TV Series – “South Park”.
